MapTap turns geography clues into globe-based challenges. Interpret the prompt, rotate the map and place your answer close to the target to earn more points.
How to play MapTap
Choose the geography challenge or the temperature challenge, then read the clue for the current round.
Rotate and zoom the globe to investigate possible answers.
Tap the map to place your final guess.
Points reward accuracy, so a guess closer to the target scores better.
Controls
In geography mode, drag to rotate the 3D globe, scroll or pinch to zoom, and tap or click once to place the guess.
In temperature mode, move the temperature slider or type a Celsius value before submitting.
Scoring and game format
Each mode has five rounds worth up to 1,000 points each. Geography uses distance from the target; temperature uses the difference from the reported Celsius value.
MapTap is a single-player challenge. Its share button copies a score summary but does not create a live multiplayer room.
